Microsoft has embarked on a new multiplatform direction for several of its Xbox games, and former PlayStation boss Shawn Layden believes that this new initiative could work in the company’s favor if handled correctly–much like it has for Sega. Nintendo historically holds Nintendo Direct briefings in February, and it seems that tradition will continue this year. Podcaster NateTheHate has reported that Nintendo will host a Nintendo Direct event focused on games for the original Switch sometime next month.
